What’s the difference between a standard print and a giclée print?

Our standard prints are printed using dye-based inks onto high quality GF Smith 350gsm paper. They are perfect for when you don’t want to make a large investment, but still want a beautiful print.

Giclée prints are created with pigment-based inks and acid-free papers, both of archival quality, and are therefore superior to all other forms of reproduction printing. They display a full colour spectrum, with the sharpest of details, capturing every shade and detail of the original piece. Our giclée prints are printed onto a stunning Hahnemühle 310gsm textured paper, ideal for Fine Art Prints. They last 100-200 years without significant fading, so are the perfect choice for when you want to invest in a print that will last a lifetime and longer.

• The A4 standard prints are carefully packaged in clear cello bags for protection and sent in board backed envelopes.

• All giclée prints are made to order, so please allow a little extra time for them to arrive. They are shipped flat directly from the printers.

• Colours may vary very slightly from those pictured.

• Gift wrapping is not available with the giclée prints, as these prints are made to order and ship direct from the printers.
